You don’t need more content. You need to see what you’ve got differently.

Facebook
LinkedIn

You’re not out of content. You’re just too close to it.

Last week I ran a Brand Story session with a brilliant business owner. As we talked, stories poured out — real wins, powerful moments, values you could feel.

Then halfway through, they paused. “Wait… we already have this content. We capture it every day.”

Exactly.

That moment right there? That’s when it clicks.

You don’t need to create more. You need to spot what you’re already doing and give it the platform it deserves.

Let’s break it down.

What counts as “content”?

It’s not just pretty graphics or perfectly edited reels. It’s:

  • A screenshot of a client win

  • A voice note turned into a post

  • A sentence you said that made someone say, “Omg, yes.”

  • A before-and-after result (with context)

  • A sticky note on your desk that reminds you why you do this

If it makes someone feel seen, think differently, or want to work with you — it’s content.

3 signs you’re sitting on content without realising it

  1. You repeat yourself in client calls. That gold you keep repeating? It’s because it resonates. Share it.

  2. You write long emails (or DMs) answering the same questions. That’s your audience telling you exactly what they want to know.

  3. You’ve said, “Oh, we do that all the time.” Cool. Then tell people. Show the real work behind the scenes.

Everyday moments that make great posts:

  • Client onboarding steps (not the whole process, just one smart tip)

  • Quick wins or unexpected results

  • Testimonials with a twist (add your behind-the-scenes context)

  • A team huddle or moment of chaos with a lesson attached

  • A photo from your camera roll that tells a story

A simple framework for spotting and saving your content gems:

  1. Spot it
When someone reacts strongly, asks a follow-up, or you feel proud — make note.

  2. Store it
Set up a simple system to track stories as they happen. Create a shared board, spreadsheet, or Word doc where you quickly log what happened, what was said, and why it mattered. Make it easy, so it becomes a habit.

  3. Shape it
Ask: What’s the takeaway? Who is this for? How does this help them?

  4. Share it
One gem can become a post, a story, a reel, and a newsletter.

How to turn one real story into three pieces of content

Let’s say you told a story about helping a client simplify their message:

  • Post: The lightbulb moment. What you uncovered.

  • Story/Reel: You talking to camera about what most people overcomplicate.

  • Newsletter: A deeper dive into how clarity = confidence, with tips.

Same story. Three angles. Minimal effort.

You don’t need more. You just need to look at what you already have — differently.

That’s exactly what we do in a Brand Story session. I help you pull the gold from your everyday brilliance and turn it into content that connects.
